I propose to clarify further software development ideas according to

Hi,
the thing is that it's unclear what those "ideas" are. You forgot to
introduce what you are talking about and what you want to achieve. Or,
at least for me, it wasn't clear from your vague text.
Let me guess:
* the "alarm-notify" module is the one in Evolution, right? It's not
said anywhere. That you reference a commit doesn't mean everybody
will thoroughly read it to figure out what you really want.
* you are questioninig the place of the module, right? In what way? You
didn't say it, did you? Are you "suggesting" to move it to the
evolution-data-server? Or to a separate place? Or? My opinion is:
do not move it anywhere. There are reasons why it's where it is.
Being there a chance to have it for example in eds, it's there from
the very beginning.
* if there were any other magics hidden under the generic terms you
provided, I didn't get them even more than that what I guessed
from it above.
Do you see the very difference in the communication? Being straight and
concrete.
I'd like to ask whether it's possible to move the Evolution's
"alarm-notify" module to <....>, because <....>.
Fill the gaps...
Bye,
Milan
