[Evolution-hackers] evolution-data-server backend for using gmail contacts

Hi,

I've been looking around for any work on an evolution-data-server
backend for loading gmail contacts in evolution. So far, all I've come
up empty handed, except for http://www.go-evolution.org/EDS_Architecture
which describes the evolution-data-server backends in semi-general
terms.

Anyway, my question is, if anyone on the list is aware of any existing
work on such a backend?
