Although not as active as the rest of the module, there have been quite
a few critical bug fixes made on libical every major release. I will
look into the svn-howtos to see if it is possible to get a writable
checkout of libical or at least make it less of a road hump to
developers.

I have opened http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392170 to track
and fix the discrepancies in timezone information.

Mark : Thanks. I am already working on the problem. I am holding the
option of adding the 'svn:external's until tonight to explore
alternatives (making libical a snapshot copy like libdb as we do not
make separate package releases of libical anyway).
