Hi
I've been asked to write an eplugin to import Outlook mail .pst files into
Evolution using libpst[1]. I have come across the undocumented import plugin
hook and have used that to add the importer. So far so good, but that plugin
type is not actually activated so it's impossible to use it with Evo out of
the box. I've submitted a patch in bug #372528 to fix this.
I don't think it will make sense to keep this as a separate project in the
future so I think it should either go into the libpst source or Evo's plugin
directory. The problem with adding it to Evo's source tree is that libpst
doesn't currently generate a proper shared library that could be linked to so
it's probably easiest to ask if it can be added to libpst's source tarball,
unless you guys feel it would be better to distribute with Evo itself.
Chris
