What is the status of GNOME_Evolution_Shell_findComponent?
It looks to me like Evolution has had this function disabled since
before version 2.6, yet still appears to use it in the "mail-remote"
plug-in.
More importantly, Evolution-Sharp still carries a dependency on
Evolution because of this one function. This is bad because Evolution
pulls in a lot of desktop-related stuff that someone using
Evolution-Sharp may not necessarily need or want. It would be great to
see Evolution-Sharp drop this dependency, especially if
GNOME_Evolution_Shell_findComponent() is indeed disabled.
Is there a workaround for the functionality that
GNOME_Evolution_Shell_findComponent() provided?
Thanks,
Matthew Barnes
