Some random thoughts here...
There's a useful "printing" keyword in bugzilla.gnome.org; a keyword
search for that in evolution and GtkHtml currently shows up 35 bugs.
We really ought to get pango-ified printing support merged in (the
gnome_print_show API call doesn't do proper i18n); I've been patching
this into Fedora's evolution packages for a while (though this is for
the calendar and tasks, not the mailer) [1] I'm a bad bad person and
haven't submitted this to evolution-patches for a while; sorry.
Thinking a bit further ahead, there's a lot of exciting activity going
on lower down the GNOME stack in printing (GTK and Cairo), but perhaps
we should wait until that lands in a stable GNOME/GTK release before
having Evolution depend on it?
