Hey Alex,
So the plugin looks good an works well too.

A couple of issues:
* you need to probably update the eplug file for the right hooks (as
discussed on IRC)
* in the function org_gnome_purge_mail_prefs_factory, you are comparing
strings (folder names), since folder names are translatable, this check
would fail for folder names which are translated. 

Otherwise, things look fine.
