Hi Jules,

I just submitted a patch for this on the patches list.  I would guess
that some sequence of messages in the linux (kernel?) list has hit a bug
in the code.

See bugzilla.gnome.org, bug 312831.

Workaround would be to click on another folder while it is loading so it
doesn't load the linux one, and turn off threaded mode somehow.
