[Evolution-hackers] No Reminders in Evolution 1.4

I am currently running Mandrake 9.2 release with the default Evolution
1.4.4 that came with it. I tried to setup some example appointments
with show a message and play a sound reminders 7 min prior. The
reminders did not go off & I don't know where to start to troubleshoot
it.
