Hi,
I encountered this problem:
amic -Wl,-soname -Wl,libevolution-test.so -o .libs/libevolution-test.so
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -leshell
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
libtool: install: error: relink `libevolution-test.la' with the above 
command before installing it
make[4]: *** [install-componentLTLIBRARIES] Błąd 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/piotr/cvs/gnome/evolution/shell'
make[3]: *** [install-am] Błąd 2
