[Evolution-hackers] Is Evolution using libical for iCalendar and vCard?

Hi Folks,

I'm interested in using libical for Chandler 
(http://www.osafoundation.org), and I'm wondering how extensively 
libical is used in Evolution.  There hasn't been much activity on the 
libical mailing list or in CVS lately, which seems a little odd.

Is Evolution using a special patched version of libical?
