I guess where my point was leading was the release-engineering fact of  
it.  There ought to be a new CVS tag / release if GTKHTML is going to  
link against it (and hence Evolution, per my accidental typo in my  
original message)

Either way, Evolution's README and INSTALL ought to mention all this --
