Yeah, as it stands you currently have a choice: you can keep 1.2.2 on
Red Hat 9, or you can install evolution1.3-pilot.  The release notes
include the following known issue:

While Evolution 1.3.3 can, in general, be installed in parallel with
Evolution 1.2.x, PalmOS device support is not available for parallel
install. PalmOS device support for the preview release will require
installing the evolution1.3-pilot package, which will typically require
removal of the earlier Evolution version.
