Re: [Evolution-hackers] another UI note

I have to disagree there. "Wizard" implies (or at least can imply)
"someone who knows a lot about something", which is pretty much what a
Wizard is in Windows.

"Druid" could imply various things to various people:

  1) Nothing
  2) Celtic priest who sacrifices people to trees
  3) Character class in Dungeons and Dragons

None of these go particularly well with the idea of "helping the user
to configure something". The only way you can figure out what a
"Druid" is supposed to be is to know about Windows Wizards and then do
the math and figure out that a Wizard (of the magic-using kind, not
the wise kind) is sort of like a Druid and so therefore "Filter Druid"
must mean "Filter Wizard".

(Does this internationalize at all??)

I think "Wizard" is a great name, and frankly, no one needs that to
argue that we're copying Microsoft. :-}

But "Assistant" sounds fine too.
