Yes, we're planning to do this. Multiple sig files too.
The way I was thinking about was to have a "From" in the header part
of the composer, with a pop-up menu that you could select an identity
from. (Although that won't work with the current way signatures are
implemented...)
If one of your addresses appears in the To/Cc of a message, it should
default to using that identity for replies. Also, you should be able
to associate default identities with folders.

We'd love PGP/GPG support, but it may not be there for 1.0 (unless
someone else starts writing it).
