[evince] Using DBus API

I have a question about the DBus API in Evince. The information about this topic is old, confusing, on internet.

I would like to know if it is possible to retrieve the current open page using dbus, is that possible?

Your help is very much appreciated.

P.S: I know I could use GVFS: gio info -a "attributes::evince::page" /path/to/pdf/document
