[evince] Printing 3-up from Evince

Evince uses a print setup which only allows printing "per page" 1, 2,
4, 6, 9, or 16 sides.

I would very much like to be able to print "3-up" (i.e., three sides
"portrait" printed across one "landscape" page).

Given it can manage 6-up, it seems odd that there is no option to
print 3-up. Is it possible to convince Evince to print 3-up? is there
a "plugin" or some such?

I live in hope! (I use Evince on standard Gnome Ubuntu, by the way.)
