JoséGreetingsHI,as I understand, muPdf has fewer features than poppler. For instance, I don't know if mupdf supports annotations. If you wish to have a Gtk+ Reader based on muPdf, I think your best options are to develop one from scratch. I doubt that such a backend would be accepted.

As, can be noted in SumatraPDF, which I have used fairly frequently on Windows, it works pretty well.
I'm willing to help out or actually consider coding this from scratch, though, I have never touched the Evince codebase before, but am willing to try.
