Dear people of evince, the world is getting more and more touch enabled devices and I actually see people migrating back to windows because they can't draw stuff into PDFs. Is there anything planned for evince?
Hi, Free Hand annotations are not implemented in poppler-glib, yet. First, we need to implement it there and then in Evince. That said, with the current annotations implemented in poppler-glib, it should be straightforward to add more. See http://calcifer.org/notes/2013/10/pdf-annotations-in-poppler-glib.h tml to get an idea of what I mean. If you (or anyone else) want to give it a try, I could give you a hand. And this should be the bug to follow later: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=724544 -- Germán Poo-Caamaño http://calcifer.org/
