Hey, official windows version of evince is discouraged. I would try to run Evince from the Msys2 distribution. This is a distribution of windows-compiled programs derived from the Linux Arch distribution. There you can get evince 3.12 or 3.14

I installed the latest version from the website but opening a file was not the problem but printing it seemed to be an empty page.

Firstly I was thinking of printing issues but using another programme worked well for printing.

And working with evince version 0.18.0 is also going well. 

maybe you should turn back to that version to see what happened with the programming on printing. Maybe somthing is missing.
