[evince] Tech help - Evince not showing some fonts/headings

Hello,

I have an error with Evince that I can't seem to find a work around.  I am running Ubuntu 12.04 with Evince 3.4.0.  There are some PDF's (not all) that it just will not show the heading of the articles.  I have tried reinstalling font packs and upgrading Evince and neither work.  The PDF's work just fine in another viewer (using FireFox to view PDF's currently).  I even tried to upgrade to Evince 3.6 but got an error that it would break my Ubuntu upgrades.  Is there anything else I can try?  I enjoy how light and swift to open the viewer is, but if I can't read some text then it's of no more use to me.

This has been happening for a while and I was just putting off fixing it, but now I can't find a solution.  If you would like I can send a screen shot of what I'm talking about.
