I have been using evince since ... 2005 ? I have been very satisfied but now I start needing to add annotations to documents I review. I find the annotations management is still pretty poor and I would like to be able to do it with evince.

Here are the things I would like to see in evince :

- underline text by just using a button in the toolbar before or after selection (as well with key shortcut)

- highlight text the same way described above

- add annotation for any underlined/highlighted/barred text. The annotation would lie in a small preview window that could be expanded by clicking it (to fully read) and dragged anywhere on the page, linked by a line to the associated piece of text. Annotation preview window would pop up by default in the margins of the document.

- And many more I don't think about right now.

I don't know nothing about pdf management, pdf interoperability and I have never done collaborative development but if the devs want free workforce to code when they are caring of their wifes and children, I will be very happy to work !

Please guys if you are interested, throw me documentation and food for thought.

My name is Hector Jimenez and i'm currently user of evince since 2 years ago,i'd like to ask you if is there any posible to added anotations or similar things to underline the text,i apoloyize for my english,i've falled in love with evince and i wouldn't like to use another pdf reader.
