[evince] auto-reload question

Hi,

I'm using evince outside of the gnome environment.

I've noticed that auto-reload, i.e. evince detecting that the file was
changed on disk and automatically reloading the file, is no longer working.
Not sure if it is related to me switching away from gnome or not.

I've tried version 2.32.0-r3 and 3.2.1-r1.

Kernel version: 3.2.5

Config: 
zgrep -i notify /proc/config.gz 
CONFIG_FSNOTIFY=y
CONFIG_DNOTIFY=y
CONFIG_INOTIFY_USER=y
CONFIG_FANOTIFY=y

/usr/libexec/gvfsd and /usr/libexec/gvfsd-metadata are running.


Any suggestions?
