evince cannot print dvi from Evince

Hi,

I am using Evince 2.30.3 on Ubuntu 10.04 under LXDE. When I try to
print a dvi file I get the error message "Failed to execute child
process "dvipdfm" (Permission denied)".

I searched the web but couldn't find a solution, only bug reports which
mostly should have been solved.

Is this a known bug and is there any solution?
