View documents in HPGL

Let me share one idea with you. If it is nonsense, please, forget it ...

In some companies drawings are distributed in the HPGL format. Evince can display them after they have been converted to acceptable formats. I have very good experience with using hp2xx for this task. 

If I use e.g. the enclosed file CH34038150_A01.hpgl, then the following settings produce very good converted outputs:

hp2xx -m eps CH34038150_A01.hpgl                                #coloured eps
hp2xx -m tiff -S 8 -d600 CH34038150_A01.hpgl                 #B&W tiff

It would be nice to have a plugin (or so about) for Evince, that could start this conversion by hp2xx with output to the temp directory and then it would start displaying the converted file by Evince. After displaying it could also delete the file. Perhaps, it is a way, how to enhance Evince capability ...
