trying to identify the problem..

hi,
  I am doing some work on evince accessibility to PDF. Currently, it
opens the PDF file but orca dosnt announce it.(i.e. Orca is not
reading the PDF files in evince). I think the prblem lies in the
display area of evince. Is it true?
how can i proceed with my work?
