Hi!

Can you check, whether your evince uses poppler(cairo) or
poppler(splash) for rendering? Have a look at the evince's menu:
Help/ Info.

When using poppler(cairo) there shouldn't be any problem, but if I
recall correctly there is no font aa in poppler(splash).
