Making evince kills my system

Hi,

I tried to compile evince from the sources. At the end of 'make', some process starts eating up all memory (1 GB AM and 1 GB swap) and eventually paralyzes the system, so that I have to power it off. The culprit appears to be xml2po. Installation worked after removing the 'help' target from Makefile.in.

On my system (Crux 3.2) Python 2.5.1 and gnome-doc-utils 0.12.0 are installed. Any ideas / patches?

Greetings,
Bernd
