verifying rendering engine

 I am currently using epiphany-webkit.  However, it does not pass the acid3 test at the same level as midori.  It gets a 71 on the acid3 which is the same as firefox.  Is this to be expected?  Is there a way to verify that epiphany is actually using webkit?  

I am using the epiphany-webkit provided through the webkit team ppa.
