Yes, you don't really need the full desktop at all. To build epiphany trunk

Thanks for that.  I thought I'd first try out the GnomeDevelopmentKit[1] but
I'm having problems with getting extensions to "register".  I copied the
example-extension[2] into ~/.gnome2/epiphany/extensions but it doesn't turn up
anywhere for activation.

What am I missing?
