How long will Gecko be supported?

Hi there,
I am in the market for a new web browser, and I am looking for something
lightweight that uses Gecko. How much longer will Gecko be supported on
Epiphany? Epiphany really looks like the most mature, stable browser,
but I really need permanent Gecko support.
