Your question is not quite clear. I assume you're running Gnome on
Mandriva 2009. Do you want the Evolution e-mail client to connect to
Gmail? Or do you want to let mailto: links go to Gmail instead of
Evolution?

The latter option isn't possible yet, I'm afraid.
