Flash crashes galore ...

I use epiphany-1.8.3_2 on FreeBSD 6.0 under gnomedesktop-2.12.2 and have
the aggravating problem with the browser crashing regularly on pages
containing flash etc.
Here are the relevant packages I've installed:
linux-flashplugin-7.0r61 The official Macromedia Flash Player for Linux
Mozilla and
linux-sun-jdk-1.4.2.10 Sun Java Development Kit 1.4 for Linux
linux_base-8-8.0_10 Base set of packages needed in Linux mode (for
i386/amd64)
linuxpluginwrapper-20051113 A wrapper allowing use of linux-plugins with
native application
What is the best advice to get this fixed?
