You can use any Mozilla plugin inside Epiphany. The main options are
MozPlugger <http://mozplugger.mozdev.org/>, which will run your normal
video player, or one of the media players that includes a Mozilla
plugin, such as gxine <http://xinehq.de/index.php/releases>, Totem
<http://www.gnome.org/projects/totem/>, or Helix Player
<https://player.helixcommunity.org/>.
I use Totem. It displays the videos inside the browser and uses my
GNOME themes. On the downside, some streaming movies stop playing a few
seconds in.
