Looks like it's (mostly) working now. There are still some problems to
fix and updates to make, but the patch is getting big, therefore I'd
like to upstream it as fast as possible. That means that I'd like to
take you up on your offer :)

How do we do this? Should we break the patch up in little pieces, or one
big drop? It contains the Python UTF32 string stuff patch I took from
the moz bug referenced on the wiki page above, various build and install
fixes, fixes for removal of obsolete component manager header, and misc
fixes and cleanup.
