Bookmark file?

I would like to back up my current Book marks.  I can not find a
mechanism to do that.  In fact I cannot find a bookmark file of any type
on my system.  I have looked for .xml and .html files from / to /home
and cant find anything that looks like a bookmark file. can you show me
where they are.
