Hi,

I would like to make my bookmarks patch an extension, but am 
not sure it can be done with the current system. Will look 
into it further, but the main difference is that I need to 
replace the bookmarks menu. The extensions I've looked at so 
far only add things (like extra menu entries). How could I go 
about creating an extension which overrides the normal 
bookmark generation code? Should I create a patch for the 
bookmarks system to allow this?
