Ephiphany statically linked to gtk-2.3?

Hi,
I'm using debian sid and I do not find gtk-2.3 libs available.
I'm not very happy to download them and install because I have to remove
former gtk libs and break A LOT OF dependecies:)! Yeah, I can override
dselect silly complaints, but the problem can smartly be solved if some
pious soul could forge me a statically linked version of epiphany:)!
Please please!
