These two _really_ belong into a proxy. The browser doesn't really
have anything to do with this. There's very nice L7 match module on SF
which supports http, ftp, https and, IIRC, gopher. You can make proxy
error messages arbitrarily complex and you can have logging. This is
the same reason why parental control really doesn't belong in the
browser.

Is it possible to prevent javascript from opening windows without menus
and toolbars, too? It's not related to kiosk mode, it's just a very
annoying "feature" of many websites.
