Smooth scrolling is pretty heavy for a lower-end computer, especially laptops which don't necessarily have very good display accel.. All I can think of off the cuff is Panel animation, which doesn't have any obvious tie-ins to scrolling other than "it's slower if on". -- Osma Ahvenlampi <oa@iki.fi>
