I had this conversation today with calum about changing menus labels and
about the delete and rename items. I agree with him that we should just
have a single delete and rename menu entry (Action) that works based on
selection (unfortunately i can't seem to figure out how to do this right
now).

<DaveBored> calum in your opinion is it acceptable to change menu item
label to clarify and action. For instance s/open in new window/open in
new windows when more than one item is selected etc.

<calum> DaveBored: hmm, bit of a grey area... it's probably ok in this
case because the sense of the operation is the same and the mnemnonic
wouldn't need to change, but in general I'm not sure it's a great idea...
<calum> DaveBored: since in the general case you'd need to be sure the
mnemonic wouldn't change in any locale :)
<DaveBored> how bout a case such as s/delete bookmark/delete topic ?
<calum> DaveBored: Why not just stick to 'Delete' in that case, the
meaning should be clear from whatever you have selected...
<DaveBored> well i agree, marco feels that being dependent on selection
could be confusing, but if i tell him you said it maybe he'll listen
<DaveBored> right now we have to menu items (eecchh) delete bookmark,
and delete topic
<DaveBored> since the view is two paned (topics on left, bookmarks on right)
<DaveBored> two lists
<calum> right... well, provided you're using primary and secondary
selection colours correctly to clearly show which pane has focus, i
don't think it should be a problem to have a single Delete item...
