feature request - rectangle draw highlight

I would like to be able to highlight certain parts of a photo for use in online presentations. A simple rectangle draw function would suffice for me but it might be nice for others to have other shapes available, if possible. I have searched around but can't find anything like that on eog and I know of no other image viewers that offer it. Anyway, thanks for your hard work and attention.
