Hi Jendrick,
sorry to not give you any response for so long, but finding free time is
hard for me recently.
So, thanks for the plugin. I included it the just released
eog-plugins-3.5.5 package. It also saves its target folder with
GSettings now. That makes the setting persistent over restarts.
