Hi!

It's stable release time again. Here's Eye of GNOME 2.28.0. Although we
weren't able to devote much time for developing your favorite image
viewer this term, we were still able to include a few features and
improvements. Hope you can still enjoy. Also be sure to try out the new
eog-plugins package extending EOG with some additional toys.


* What is it ?

Eye of GNOME (EOG) is the image viewer for the GNOME desktop.

* Drop libart_lgpl dependency (Felix Riemann)
* Allow disabling trash confirmation dialog (Felix Riemann)
* Shortcut improvements ()
* Reduce number of exported symbols (Felix Riemann)
* Interpolation controllable independently for zoom-in and zoom-out
  (Brad Greco, Evert Verhellen)
* Allow having a "Save" button on the toolbar (Felix Riemann)
* Try to realise the main window from the main loop to reduce the risk
  of crashes when clutter-using plugins use the sidebar. (F. Riemann)
* Make image properties dialog more useful on small screens (F. Riemann)
* Make "Open With..." menu look more like Nautilus's (Marcus Carlson)
* Lots of bugs fixed, code and build system improvements, and better
  support for plugin development (Josselin Mouette, Felix Riemann,

  Gabor Kelemen, Cyriac Thomas)
