Hi All,

It was our first regular meeting and we had a good turnout, so thank you to those who joined. We will be changing the meeting time next quarter in order to accommodate more people's schedules in the future.

Meeting Notes From January 29, 2016

Met on #engagement and https://appear.in/, had some connectivity issues. Would like to explore other video conferencing solutions.

Summary of next steps:

Recruiting:

• Infographic designer
• 1 - 3 Web Devs, with familiarity with wordpress

Outreach:

• @Nuritzi - obtain a copy of Andreas' business card template
• @Sri - make an infographic about how GNOME teams interact, for recruiting purposes
• @Nuritzi - ceate a GNOME SF Facebook page

Website:

• @Nuritzi - add notes on website improvement to bugzilla https://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&component=www.gnome.org&product=website

• Think about having a hackfest at GUADEC
• Schedule a meeting just on website development sometime in February

Note: heard warnings about how the website is hard to manage / work on.

Conferences

• LAS GNOME - led by Sri, regular meetings every Thursday at 17:00 UTC, ping Sri for more details

• @Adelia - set up a way for people to start adding photographs from 2016 now. (check out https://wiki.gnome.org/GUADEC/2015/Photos)

• @Adelia - Come up with a list of numbers we'd like to create infographics about. e.g. How big: number of foundation numbers, breakdown of members by team, number of people who attend GUADEC, - check with Andrea Veri and Zana
• @Adelia - set up wiki pages and process for people to contribute as authors.

Fundraising - No updates for now
