Reinvigoratoring the GNOME Amazon store

In 2009 we introduced an amazon store in the friend of gnome page [1]. AFAIR, Jaap Haitsma was, at least, one of the person on charge of this and did a very good job. When you make your Amazon purchases at this store the GNOME Foundation will receive a referral fee which amounts to 4-6% of the total purchase you make. Depending on where you live you can use the US, Canada, Germany, France, Japan or UK store.

Long time has passed since then, and it needs some work to accomodate to new times :-)

- New amazon stores has been opened in China, Spain, India and Italy.
- The selection of our store has been frozen in that time and it needs some updates (new items related to GNOME, Free Software, etc)
- There are other ways to make the donation apart from using the store. In amazon US there is a dedicated page, http://smile.amazon.com/ , so you can set the GNOME Foundation  to make donations automatically from all your purchases.

I think we need a plan :-). I think we can discuss this topic a little bit in the engagement team and ask for some action/permission to the GNOME Foundation board to accomplish.
