I'll also try and assist in the release notes. I'll assist, so if you

I've changed loads of things. See
http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.2/index.html.en (I like
this more than the yelp output).

Great!

Question:
 * how wide should screenshots be? I used 800px for sushi, but copied a
lot from other sources, widest screenshot is 1040px or so

The 3.0 screenshots were taken at 1280x800 and then resized to be no
wider than 668px.

Planned user structure (it mostly already looks like this):
 - user changes
 - online accounts (ideally in "better integration", but need it to
  explain Documents, Contacts)
 - web applications
 - contacts
 - documents
 - quick preview / sushi
 - greater integration, with loads of subsections such as:
   - colour stuff
   - wacom
   - messaging
   - new gdm
   - loads more (please just see the url)
 - new help
 - more beautiful
 - shell extensions
 - "there's more"

==> anyone disagree with this layout? I killed the gnome-control-center
section. IMO it should be explained where it makes sense.

Looks good to me. Agree about gcc. I would perhaps split out colour
management and messaging into their own items...

Working on:
 - finished sections should have the references (URLs, etc) as comments
  in the source
 - more screenshot (I am a screenshot junkie)
 - IMPORTANT: fact checking
 - screenshots for stuff I cannot do, e.g. wacom, colour management
 - maybe add a section for: "Redesigned user interaction in the file
chooser dialog (see federicos posts for details)" / put it as a
sort of footnote together with Documents?

Oh, the amount of changes in GNOME 3.2 is just amazing. Who knew that
e.g. totem can now rotate your movies? Just a one-liner...
