Hi everybody,
the designers have pushed an updated version of their mockup for GNOME
Shell's search results[0], mainly to bring them in line with the
window/application picker[1].
Those mockups have been implemented[2] and reviewed, so the patches are
now pending on the approval of the release team. While the patches
should have little impact on functionality (the main change is an
increased icon size), they improve consistency and polish of the search
results significantly, which is why we feel that the change should be
included in the 3.0 release - as a major version jump, the release will
draw quite a bit more attention than follow-up releases, and we would
like it to be as polished as possible.
Is there a functional change in the user experience that would
affect text descriptions? Or it just pixel shifting?
Thanks,
Florian

I'd ask everyone to put me in copy of eventual list replies.
