You can use Sparkleshare [1] in combination with Git. That's what some
of us do for GNOME design stuff (hosted on Gitorious [2] at the moment).
It works really well.

I have never gotten sparkleshare to work. It might be because of firewall stuff.  But somewhere it always fails.  I would prefer if we just used git just to keep the experience consistent.
