nlnet grant opportunity

Marketing Team:

We have an opportunity to seek funding (up to 30.000€) via the NLnet
Foundaiton open software grant. The NLnet Foundation currently has a
call for funding with a deadline of December 1st[1]

Shane Martin Coughlan applied for a grant in the last round for a
Usability project, but that was not approved. The basic details
of the proposal were discussed on the GNOME usability list[2]. We plan
to update the proposal and submit it again. Wish us luck!

However, I think we should also consider what other projects we could
also submit for this grant. The NLnet Foundation has a special interest
in areas of intersections between Free Software and Open Standards, and
especially anything to do with ODF. So perhaps we could put together
other proposals that are more clearly aligned with their areas of
interest.

Does anybody on the marketing list have any thoughts, or ideas of who
we should get involved in order to consider this?

Thanks,

Brian
